Stunning performance of Dillie (Fascinating Aida) Keane's beautifully touching song. Look Mummy has been a highlight of Irish/French singer Camille O'Sullivan's live shows for many years, since she was given the song by the writer. This version from her 2005 Live in Melbourne DVD (with Spiegelmaestro David Bates on piano). Song first recorded on Fascinating Aida's "It, Wit, Don't Give A Shit Girls"

By far the best and most emotive version of this song, you really feel the melancholy in this version, have seen her sing it live and have cried every time. Well done Camille in making a kitch song meaningful xxx

Amazing, saw her at the Norwich Festival last night in the SpiegelTent, perfect setting, breathtaking performance, her voice stronger than in this video. Very much worth seeing live as she's kooky and crazy as a cat - meow. Loved every minute, and this emotional song was by far my favourite. Take your tissues!!

I think for a lot of people, the first version of this song that they hear is the one they will keep returning to. And that's okay. I saw her in Sydney last week and it was one of the most amazing performances I've had the pleasure of watching. What you don't see in these short clips is how hilarious and playful she is between (sometimes during) songs. :)

@forthst18 Why should people not believe some of the other reviews? You don't like this version, so you insist that everyone else not like it too? Do you *really* not see the ignorance and arrogance of such a position? Telling someone "check out this other version" can be educational; telling them to not like what they like is absurd. No, after listening to this a few more times I changed my mind: I *am* going to disregard some of the other reviews. Starting, and ending, with yours.

@ forthst18 You're welcome to your opinion, but please don't assume that all the other people who LOVE this rendition don't have ears just cos you disagree with them. (And liking Camille's version doesn't mean you can't also like Dillie's. Or Amanda's either. Great, individual performers, all of them)

PLEASE don't believe some of these reviews.....this is a painfully laboured version of this song that is all about Camille and not about the song or its lyrics........it's just not good enough a performance and her decision to sing it so slowly and with TOO much pathos means that the power of the original is dissipated. It's a shame that there is no video showing the writer Dillie Keane perform it. BUT, there is an audio version. Listen to that and then compare with Camille's selfish performa

Hmmm interesting comments... esp clairelouise! I saw Camille live singing this and you could hear and even feel if a pin dropped and there was definately more than my couple of tears in the room even a bloke 2seats away!

Nothing on the origional by Dillie. Dillie has a much better voice and sang it with much more expression. This version hasn't touched me at all!

I prefer Amanda Palmer's version. It seems less rehearsed and more natural.

It's a little unfair to credit the song writing to only Dillie Keane, the lyrics were written by both Dillie and her Fascinating AIda colleague Adele Anderson.
