I just have to right this to a because these comments were getting me angry. Cake is a very talented band and they have very good music, now that's just my opinion.Anyway I was sitting on my couch on thought, hey why don't I listen to some cake I love there doing going the distance so I look it up and listen to it and am pleased as usual because the song rocks, but then I saw this video and wanted to see how they sound live, and tbh my first impression was holy shit this is horrible but then I realized cake is a very old ass band and they have preformed for many many many of years so I looked up a older version (about 8years ago) of them singing the same song live and it sounded like the cake I know and love so I really don't blame them for being so lifeless in this performance they are probably just tired but I do applaud them for trucking on and taking everyone's criticism

I used to see these guys in downtown sac. like 8 people in the room. boring then. boring now. most overrated band that is labeled cool. But you know, julia roberts and the rest of the airhead hollywoods like them. You can be different and innovative and still suck.
