I've been a long time fan of Cadillac Moon since the late 90's when I used to travel the East Coast filming their live gigs. Since most of that footage is on a hard drive I need to get restored, there are no videos for Cadillacl Moon's music. Recently the band got back together for a reunion tour and filmed an hour long concert at the LI Blues Warehouse in Long Island, NY where these guys hail from. You can view that video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqdyLF1a48Q

Cadillac Moon played the bar band scene in the famous movie Devil's Advocate while Charlize Theron was dancing in the scene. Rich Campbell, the keyboard player, got bit by the Hollywood bug & had been involved with acting ever since.

Biography

CADILLAC MOON put out two CD's in the 1990's with Al Santoriello singing lead vocals: "PLUG ME IN" and "IN THE KITCHEN." The band got off the ground by getting top honors at the LONG ISLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL. The band went on to appear at SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST in AUSTIN, TEXAS, as well as at the Philadelphia Music Conference & the NEMO conference in Boston. Appearing in the film "DEVIL'S ADVOCATE" brought the group wider recognition.

CADILLAC MOON brought their exciting , original brand of funky blues-rock to both their songwriting and live performances. Their style was first and foremost about laying down solid, fun grooves. Their songs include bits and pieces of New York funk, New Orleans honky-tonk, and straight-ahead, ass-kicking guitar. The energy they generated during live performances always had crowds excited and groovin'.

REVIEWS:

GOOD TIMES

12/05

From the winners of the 1995 Long Island Music Festival comes their debut disc and Cadillac Moon makes as an auspicious debut in the recording forum as they did in the live setting. The six song CD, PLUG ME IN, captures all the strengths of one of the country's best blues bands in all their splendor. Highlights include the tongue-in-cheek shuffle, "Miss Crabtree," the funky "File Gumbo," the surging "Avalanche" and the local snapshot "Oyster Bay." Quick, how many original blues acts can you name? Hard one, right. Cadillac Moon not only writes their own material, they write HOOKY stuff ant the level of musicianship can stand up t anybody from Little Feat to B.B. King. A must-buy for any fan who loves the blues and/or thinks the well on local talent has run dry, for if you're in the latter, you're in for a hell of a surprise. -John Blenn

Last one by them (and me) for tonight. Nice slow bluesy number to say goodnight to. I'm off to see a movie and read some more GoT before bed. Have a great night and sweet dreams.

This is the music I'm doing the casting call videos for, slow bluesy music, though not this song, 2 others by them I'm creating original videos for instead. I posted this last night, only one person seemed to see it, so am reposting it to go with casting call, so you'll know what I mean by slow dancing, this is the speed, maybe a teeny bit faster. :) This is the band I traveled the East Coast filming in the late 90's to 2001 or so, they just reunited for a reunion tour, but haven't been able to get them up my way yet :( I'm the only one who ever did live video of them, but it's on a dead hard drive I need to get restored, and none of their music is online as videos, so this is my side project as a fan. Someday I'll get their live footage restored and online too. :)

Something I whipped up quick tonight just so you can hear Cadillac Moon finally, just bought this CD again and fell in love with this bluesy song all over again. HAD to share it and this was the only way since none of their music is online as videos anywhere. You can however listen to all their stuff at the links in video description. I hope to do a couple more, not as quick and dirty, in the coming weeks. If you don't love this music, there may be something wrong with you, lol. Seriously. And see if you can listen just once, I know I can't.This is the band I traveled the East coast filming in the late 90's and early 2000's. They broke up around then and just reunited recently. Am trying like hell to get them up my way so I can film them again. I have the ONLY live footage of them, on a hard drive I need to restore, so I created this video to share their music. There is a link in the video description to the only live concert they have done since reuniting, check them out. :)
