I must congratulate the artist because of his technique: it's a catchy, bassy, dark song that is also enjoyable.However, it is not a good remix, it could perfectly be a remix of any song if we change the spoken/sang parts. It is not faithful to the song it is remixing ; it could perfectly be a completely different and 'stand alone' song if we remove the hints that the voice gives us that it is actually Down the Road.To me, that is what's wrong with this song.
