I know this is a really weird analogy, but to me this song is like eating a salad. It starts out good and slowly gets better. Just like you start the salad with all the big leaves and slowly you get to the part at the bottom of the bowl that's just amazing, and here's the kicker... IT'S THE SAME STUFF!!!!!!!! WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN????!??!???!?!? WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?????? Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this way!!!!

I made up a story to go along with the song one day when I was listening to it. It was about this group of Killjoys that I made up and a little girl named Jenny that they meet during their adventures. Whenever the line "gravity don't mean too much to me." came up I would imagine my Killjoys relaxing and being carefree outside of the oppressive rule of Better Living Industries. The lines "I'm who I've got to be" and "These pigs are after me" would show them fighting against the Ghouls and Scarecrows that were after them. And the lines up to "I gotta bulletproof heart" would show how they met the little girl named Jenny who was not under the influence of BL. My personal Killjoy ( named Neon Dream) met Jenny while trying to escape from a Scarecrow unit after being separated from his fellow Killjoys. After being injured he evades the Scarecrows and collapses on the balcony outside of 12 year old Jenny's window, who then cares for his wounds. After speaking with her he learns that in a few days time Bl is going to come for her and force her to become a mindless drone like all the others citizens of Battery City. Not wanting an innocent girl's life to be destroyed he offers to take her with him back to the Killjoy hideout where she can be free from BL to which she agrees. Then from 0:49 to 2:11 it details Jenny training to become a Killjoy. Where the line "Jenny could you come back home" would show a team of Ghouls and Scarecrows attempting to bring Jenny back. From 2:11 to 2:54 there would be an older Jenny somewhere around 15 or 16 still under the tutelage of Neon Dream and his Killjoys but it shows her with the others fighting the ghouls that come after them. At 2:54 to 3:30 it shows Jenny again this time around 19-20 years old and a fully fledged Killjoy. However during a firefight with dozens of Scarecrows, they are overwhelmed and Neon Dream and his four other Killjoys give themselves up to the Scarecrows so that Jenny can escape. Neon Dream and his Killjoys are then transported to a prison where they will be executed the following morning. However at the line "Are you gonna be the one to save us" Jenny determines to save them from death and from 3:37 to 3:56 it shows her storming the prison by herself and eliminating all the guards. Then at the line "I a'int gonna be the one left standing" it shows Jenny outside of Neon Dream's cell where she tells him "You ain't gonna be the one left standing." Then turns to the other Killjoys and says to them "We ain't gonna be the ones left standing". Finally at 4:05 it shows all five Killjoys standing outside of the prison where dozens of Ghouls and Scarecrows are aiming their guns at them. The line "is this our destiny" is what Jenny thinks as she stands with her friends facing death for the hundredth time. She then looks at her friends, the ones who saved her and thinks "this world is after me, after you." Then Neon Dream turns to her and says "Run away, like we used to yesterday, when we could run away, run away run away from here." and from 4:32 to 4:53 it shows the Killjoys running down the road with the Scarecrows chasing them as Jenny would first appear as a little girl running then back to the Killjoy she now is.
