Want some personnel? Tabasco bass is Lee Allen Zeno, a rock solid zydeco bass player who is STILL up there with Buckwheat, and supports many of the up and coming SWLA zydeco acts today. He also gets together with many of the other older cats near home. Guitar is Melvin Veazie. Rubboard is Patrick "Red" Landry. After many years with Buck, he played with Leroy Thomas and Roy Carrier for a few years.. Drummer looks like Kevin Menard, who took about a dozen years off and has rejoined Buckwheat & Il Sont Partis in the 20-teen years. The guitarist I can't ID "might" be Jimmy Reed, as another poster has suggested.I know Jimmy well, but this video is too foggy. And the sax guy is Dennis Landry. These guys are the forefront of presenting Creole zydeco to the general public. In 1989 I risked losing a job, when I insisted that I get the night off to see Buckwheat and this crew open for him in The Spectrum in Phila. Bill Clinton had him play his Inaugural Ball. He did this tune on the last Jimmy Fallon Show.

Michael Anthony of Van Halen had a Jack Daniels bass and that did nothing for me. But a Tabasco bass! Sub-Arctic Cooool. The visual cherry on top of a rocking zydeco sundae.

For any y'all Creole and Cajun who saw the gent introducing Buckwheat, his name is Ray Martin - and if you were to dip him in liquid nitrogen he would look like a human sized Lego minifig. No shit.

This song originally came from Dylan's 1973's LP "Planet Waves". Both versions differ yet both are GREAT! Long live the music of BZ!
