Benton, who wrote the song, released it as the b-side of a single in 1970 and it also appeared the same year on his album "Home Style" on the Cotillion label. Barbara Mcnair was NOT a heroin addict at all despite what someone on here wrote. She was arrested for possession of drugs which were delivered in a package to her dressing room which she signed for. Charges were later dropped. She never slowed down in her career and worked all the way up to her untimely death of throat cancer in 2007. RIP.9 years ago
