Even though I think Britney is amazing, I think there are some reasons why she never reached the level of Janet. She is definitely diverse as a dancer so unlike Ciara, she doesn't have that problem but let's see: She seems a little too trained sometimes so her body can come off very stiff at times, she doesn't really have her own style; she's a little too technical. I also think because of her gymnastics training that she doesn't use much leg work in her dancing unless she is throwing her leg up in the air doing high kicks. That's why a lot of people claim she uses her upper body only and only makes sudden arm movements. If she wasn't so "trained", I think she would have been reached a higher level of skill and been on Janet's level for sure.

Anyone who doesn't think this is good enough should consider that the choreography is most likely fitted to her ability to sing while dancing and the length and strenuosity of her performance. She probably has a lot more to show case off stage and some would know watching her "behnind the scenes" and documentaries.

Beyoncé is way better singer and sadly britney has passed it now ...BUT in her prime britney was a way better dancer her moves were so sharp and powerful she never had choreography dumb down for her whereas Beyoncé is not a technical dancer it's all booty shaking and sass inspired.

I thought beyonce is a great dancer but watching this video has made me realize that beyonce's choreography is nothing compared to britney. Britney had such flexibility (I dont know if she has it now) and her moves are just something you wanna watch over and over again she doesnt rest for a sec during her songs and keep on dancing till its over. Bey does not have dancing talent like brit.

I grew up with Britney and love her, but honestly, her moves are Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader quality (high leg kick, spin, hair flipped downwards). She took gymnastics, hence the amazing flexibility, but none of the moves flow. Because most of us can't do that, some get tricked into thinking 'OMG what a spectacular dAncer!!!!' Her moves are just ...routine. I'm surprised she never incorporated back hand springs and standing tucks. Search YT if you want to see some non-cheerleader type dancing. No offense to cheerleaders

watching these makes me miss her dancing sooo much! ive NEVER seen another singer who dances like her, clearly showing that she give's her whole soul into dancing in as much as singing, she has big steps like a man. while other performers' back up dancers always dances better than them , britney always shows that she is the leader of the pack when she dances. every time i see her old videos, i just wish i can see her dance again, even if it's not as good as during her prime , i will still adore her.  i can see she loves her dancing more than her singing, she must be very hurt when she got injured.

Britney's dancing is technically superior to Beyoncé's, and Bey's dancing is killer!! Bey is better now, only because Brit long her confidence, and she seriously injured her knee, twice. If Brit ever regained her confidence, then Bey would quickly fall to number two.

you guys, i tried to understand why she doesnt dance like before.. she is so scared now these days, she is scared to whip her hair because of the wig, she is scared to move properly because of the high shoes and the stuff clothes. britney just let it go i pray for you, you dont need to look perfect on stage, you need to fucking sweat on stage, and i dont fucking care about the playback. :)
