Don't lie like a bitch and call these the Blues Brothers.

Damn look at Dan, he looks like he had some trouble performing. It must've been hard for him to perform without John hence why Jim had to keep cracking jokes to keep him into it

This is a relative kid speaking here. I'm only 26. I was a glimmer in my dad's eye when the movie came out. But you know what, I still have an opinion as a fan of blues and of the act as a whole. The Blues Brothers have shown themselves to be more than just the initial band. The Blues Brothers are a mentality, a style, an ideal. YES John Belushi has passed, along with more of the members. But you know what? That doesn't mean that the Brothers have to die with them. This was a case of them trying to keep the ideal of the Blues Brothers alive. I don't care who's behind Jake, who's behind Elwood, who's behind whoever. All I know is that so long as they have the style, the pizazz, and the music, they're still the Brothers to me. I'll appreciate them no matter what.

Bullshiite! The Japanese Blues Bros band the BBBCB are keeping it more alive than this malarchy...Maybe it's just me, but this comes off as nothing more than a commercialized mockery..This is exactly why you should'nt do Cocaine in your 50s...

The fact that he is not a jew is reason enough to be pissed off that he played a nazi?

Smoke, there is no replacement suitable or other wise. Some performers are much different and they have the deep love of those they will never meet. Much like the passing of a beloved husband with his brother in his place wearing his clothes attempting to be a stand in, it is, well, it is what it is. Regardless of the reasons involving the split, Pink Floyd ended with the leaving of Roger Waters, and I have to say I view this the same way, much like TOFU turkey at Thanksgiving.

I knew all that, except about Charles, that really sucks. I know I was just quoting the movie dude. When they were in the Palace Hotel Ball Room

John Belushi (aka Jake) passed a long time ago. So did John Candy (aka Burton Mercer). And also the leader of the Good Ol' Boys, Charles Napier (aka Tucker McElroy). Out of respect for these great entertainer, it would be silly to "replace" them, as they are irreplaceable.

"Where's Jake"? "WHERED THOSE BLUES BROTHERS GO! "? ~ John Candy, Good Old Boys

What do you jerks expect? John is dead..the closest they'll ever get to an acceptable replacement is his brother. Can you imagine the comments if it was just some random guy next to Aykroyd? I'll forever love The Blues Brothers and whoever stands beside Danny no matter what. Quit your bitching.

One of few of my movie favourites-Blues Brothers. A real Classic movie. They sure don't make good movies any more. Just one part of the movie stunk highly--The bad nazies(all played by known Jews). Hollywood Jews love to introduce this crap, every chance they get.
