This became my favourite song from the album. It's really one of the songs from the album that doesn't get much attention for some reason, but it's so good. It has great guitar like every song does, but the drums are particularly epic, and holy crap you can actually hear the bass doing stuff a couple of times! The lyrics are really well-written, they excellently portray Beren's love for Luthien without getting too sappy about it. Actually, this is the only Blind Guardian song I can think of that is close to a 'love song'. Which is also funny because it's one of the most all-out aggressive songs on the album! And that awesome scream gives me shivers every time. The tale of Beren and Luthien is one of the most important in Tolkien's world. Tolkien and his wife are buried under a tombstone saying Beren and Luthien.
