Jesus wept.

The song was only good up until 1:30 before the beat got really messy. Such a shame :(

Sounds like an out-take from KMFDM's Money.

One of the most off-putting covers I've ever heard in my life.

My first CD :) I was 13 and already a sci-fi geek, and my favorite movie was and still is Blade Runner. No wonder I loved this album. Listening to it now it sure hasn't aged all that well. Billy Idol took a big chance with this record that didn't pay off in sales. Tomorrow People is an awesome track though.

I usually love electronic dance versions of classic rock songs, and I love Billy Idol, but this is a horrible cover. One of the worst.

Playing any version of this song other than the velvets is breaking the junkies golden rule.

Agreed. That's what you get when you take a drug addict of drugs and feed him with William Gibson books. I love this record.

What I've read is that Idol only added the "jesus died, for somebody's sins but not mine". Not sure if rest if Reed though. Great version. I would call it tribute to Reed. Dunno why some ppl get pissed off by this version.

Is it appropriate to say that Lou Reed is rolling in his grave now?

I remember buying this album when it came out, loved it. A friend borrowed it and never gave it back!
