I am an extremely versatile music consumer. I might listen to Peter Gabriel and something hits me and I'm' listening Sarah Vaughn.. I have opera, classical, jazz, gospel, and obviously "current,-or semi-current music. Right now, I'm into to "The Heavy ,w"/The House That Dirt Built. Then I switched today to "Mystikal" Shake Yo Ass." I hear music in my head every day since I was 9 yrs old. I am 61 yrs old, and had a reflective moment listening to this ssng. No need to trip ! I like M_U_S_I_C !

We know, we know. Fact check. You're talking to a rabid William Harrison Withers fan here, since 1970A.D. Otherwise, thanks for the concern: All BW dfans should be at least as miniumly informed!

@bissia. (Con)...William Harrison is a country boy. Also, his music clearly has gospel, jazz, blues, "easy listening" (as with his fifth, and later albums. Actually, when Columbia Records bought up the Sussex roster, Bill was forcibly relegated to the bland "Peter Lemongello" easylistening malise to get him away from his root music that had been selling so well. Nonetheless, "The Willow Man" came through again with his warm sincerity and down-home charm that even in tis genre, his fan base grew!

@bissia. (Cont'd).. Meaning that he was making in-roads on the country-western category, at a time when such midling artists still coudn't crack the "gold standard" sales in recordings, and had to rely on Television broadcasts (Glen Campbell ,Johnny Cash, "Hee-Haw", and Barbara Mandrell shows). Or, as was often the case, with the late Charley Rich, resorted to R&B ("The Most beautiful Girl in the World"). William Harrison easily glided from R&B, "Country" (Don't forget, he's a country boy (Con).

@bissia. Yes, Indeed OUTLAWED, until early last year. Sussex Records' had a suspicious run on its stocks, and the principle owner Clarence Avant was forced to reliquish his company. Bill Withers fourth album "+Justments" was questionably held up in litagation for THIRTY-SIX YEARS!!! My theory was that despite his being labeled, and therefore pigeon-hold in the narrow category of Rhythm and Blues\Soul, Mr. Withers was in fact one of those few industry CHART-BUSTERS; meaning that he was (Cont'd)

Jose and Bill, from the long-banned and neared-outlawed "+JUSTMENTS" album. With Bernorce Blackmon, Melvin Dunlap, Boobi Hall(on procussions), Ray Jackson, James Gadsen, and Dorothy Asby (on Harp. Beautifully renders "Stories" and "Ruby Lee").

Lol. I like the engine. Shay locomotives are awesome. I mean seriously; who thought of making a geared engine and how'd they think of a way to articulate that? They allegedly have universal joints that are reticulated, but I don't get how they made the things do that... I mean look at them, do they look flexible? No.. In conclusions Shays are awesome.
