But actually, its usually the other way around. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many male country singers and songwriters in the first place, now would there?

Old sounds 1985 This song's for all the lonely women in the worldDrivin' a car sittin' in a bar wherever you areThis song's for all the lonely women in the worldRingin' your hands thinkin' no man understandsTo me there's nothing sadder than to see a lonely oneNeglected by the one she loves so muchChances are she works all day and then goes home to nightAnd sits all night just longin' for his touchYet I've known girls with husbands in the house and still they're lonelyThey've lost him to the TV and the beerI guess somehow my heart goes out to all the lonely womenIn love with all the men who just don't careThis song's for all the lonely women in the worldSittin' at home watchin' the phone on and onThis song's for all the lonely women in the worldRingin' your hands thinkin' no man understands

This is really great. It is rare enough. There aren't many versions of it. They just don't sing country songs like this, anymore. Irish singer Danny Doyle, also sang an excellent version of this one.
