Never managed to get into anything after Puzzle, but I do listen to Puzzle quite often, more so than Infinity Land now that I think about it. I've always been in love with The Vertigo of Bliss and love the versions of Just Boy and 57 off of Thekidswhopoptodaywillrocktomorrow, which when you think about it is quite an ironic title now. Nice to see you enjoying the first three. I might put them on soon myself; got the Biffy itch :P

If their music remained the same throughout, then it's simply a case of old fans pining for a time when nobody had heard of them -- elitism, essentially. But in Biffy's case, the music has clearly shifted to a more mainstream sound. So ''god the new stuff sucks'' might hold some truth depending on where you started with the band. I'm so happy for Biffy's success, coz they worked bloody hard to get it, but i'm in the camp that was there for the older, more daring and angular stuff, which I prefer

Well I'm a new fan... Been listening to them since 09 I think, but even so I wish as much as you that they would write THIS stuff more often. I have all of their albums haven't touched Puzzle or OR since I got the first three. Opposite has some nice songs and they can play and sing damn well but the songs just aren't the same I think. That said their music is still good like. /watch?v=H_4dxFZ5zzY I wish more people knew of their older songs - older fans seem way more passionate bout the music.
