One of my favorite songs, is that by Ben Harper. The truth about the earth and environment, the way we live our lives... Its the reality of how we see ourselves, what priorities we places in order... and how we treat one another in life. We need to take the time and effort to cherish what we have, not the tangible things in life, but the things that nourish our souls and our existence in this world and for our next generations to come. Because our society today has become so self involved, so worried about money, power, fame, and glory. That we miss out on life in general. We demolish what is not ours to destroy, and we kill one another for power. The truth of the matter is, Is that we all have only one thing in common while we search and wonder this crazy journey in life, and that is that in the end of it all... when it is our time to go, in which we will all eventually have our own time to leave this place, is that we have something that we BELIEVE IN... that no matter what you believe, the fact is that you believe, NO one is right, no one is wrong... NO ONE can prove what will happen next. Its the faith that we live by, and the hopes we have, the selflessness we give to one another, and the environment that will be cherished and remembered when we leave. We have been fighting one another for land, in which is not ours... it belongs to no one... We fight one another over religion and who is right, when NO ONE RELIGION is right or wrong, its the matter of faith in general. We fight one another because of the differences and struggles each person goes through that our different then ourselves, but when it comes down to it, The only fight we need to be battling is the fight against ourselves and our own inner demons! You want to change the world, you need to start with yourself. Lend a hand to your neighbor on his journey and make communication with the fellow man. People will enter into your lives day after day for a reason, some will make a lasting impression and difference on your personal journey, some may just enter and exit to fast to make a lasting impression. But its NO WAR that needs to be fought... we are fighting over tangible objects, technology, and thoughts.... what we need to be doing is caring for one another, for the animals and creatures that walk upon the earth, for the earth itself. What we have, we are blessed to have and use....but we have more than most do, even if you have little at all, you still can be the wealthiest person... MONEY doesn't make the person, character does. Just because we can't see whats going on over seas or even next store doesn't mean its not happening and can use your help and support... One person can make all the difference in the world, if you just believed. Its like the lyrics Ben Harper says, "If your doing no harm, then your alright with me." If the difference in this world is going to come, it needs to start with the self... The perspective we have been looking through was blurred, now the sun has reappeared and a new day has dawned, and it is time to change. Make the difference and stop judging or trying to change another, live by the change in yourself, and your efforts will be passed along through the positive influence in your aroma. Everything has a rippling effect, it can make all the difference to someone with just a smile, a reassurance that someone sees them, someone cares, and they will pass that along and take it to heart... And their journey will be better influenced by you.
