Thank you Mr. Eckhardt. I have always loved the music from this phase of the Bee Gees' career. I think that the creativity that went into these 60s era songs far exceeds the more financially succesful 80s music but their popularity turned on a new generation to their earlier works. To quote 10 cc's Graham Gouldman's father, "Art for art's sake; money for god's sake." Cheers-Mr.Mis.

I was 19 years old in the U.S. Army. I heard this song while stationed at Ft. Gordon Georgia, in a matter of a few months I would be in Vietnam fighting for my country. The Bee Gee's great music made the time pass easier.

How can a group make such awesome music like this, Mining Disaster, Massachusetts, I Started a Joke and then go on to make Staying Alive and Jive Talking? I don't get it.
