Beck performing "Minus" which is from his 1996 album "Odelay."

Lyrics-

The last survivor of a boiled crown

Another casualty with the casual frown

The janitor vandals, they bark in your face

Juveniles with the piles and paste

It's a sensation, a bankrupt corpse

In the garbage classes with the crutches of force

Don't be confused when your fuse is up

And you're taking a leak into your brother's cup

When the cup is filled, you can run and be killed

In the billion miles and the muscles that build

Radiation, feel the force

Karaoke, vomiting whores

The scouts of zero hailing the call

Rubbing in the blindness of them all

With the canker sores and the robot pills

Throwing imbeciles on the window sills

It's a sensation, a bankrupt corpse

In the garbage classes with the crutches of force

Force!

Force!

I would love to hear some whole Beck album of this kind, more straight rock oriented. That would be really interesting, maybe because songs of this kind are rare for Beck. I like everything on Mellow Gold and Odelay, and I like his rapping and folk, but it just would be great to hear more of heavy distorted punk shit, just on one album

I always thought he was saying "It's a sensation of background chords." Guess not.

Sure he's not saying, "ready the nation" not radiation, and "revolving horse" not "vomiting whores"?
