BNL was and still is massively under rated. I saw them live and it truly blew my mind.

I feel like the beautiful instrumentals in some of the songs on this album should be better remembered.

Wow. I was 10 when this came out, and listened to the cassette day after day til I knew all the words. It was my first big music album that I listened to and fell in love with. It was accessible to me in grade 5, moving me with songs like New Kid on the Block, and sending me into explosions of silliness with Grade 9Since then, music became a passionate hobby of mine, I fell in love with 100 different genres and played in some bands, especially fond of punk rock, hip hop, old country, metal and the 90s alt-rock I grew up on. Over 20 years since falling in love with this album back in '92 as a 10 year old, I revisited it, and expected it to be really childish I guess. You know - not legit (a totally pretentious attitude I realize). What a shock to me that I still loved it.I think it holds up so well. I don't even want to try to go into music-critic-like descriptions and analysis of it - it's just this unique, brilliant, timeless piece of art that has an incredible affect on me. One of my favourite albums ever. And, oh yes, I came to this page because I've been listening to this song all morning :D

Best BNL album by far. Actually was the only album that had a major impact in my life when I was 14.

That doesn't mean Steve wasn't great too. It wasn't about being scared, it was about losing part of your favorite band!

I wonder why everyone got scared when Steve Page left. Clearly Ed has been amazing as a front man for many years.
