Ripped off of "Rock For Light"

Lyrics:

Here's to the maker, the film double taker, the illusion type faker. Guaranteed shaker, paravision viewer, or it just may seem lost the real scope of life. The hope of life, to cope with life, and found it on the screen. And how many times have we heard that line do you think I'm blind to trade my mind for what you call fine. Never in my time I'm not in your movie. Hey, what can it be on the big white screen Hey how can you see youre living in 3D. I guess you think you're at the movies somewhere. Stale popcorn don't you stand in your chair stale popcorn don't you stand in you chair. a child is influenced by the make believe to take advantage of this truth is cold hearted sin. So I say to youth right now. Don't sway to the unjust, no matter what they say, never give in.

My brother LOVES Bad Brains! It's true without doubt that they're cool, awesome, and influential in other bands!! By the way, I work on MAKING some English-learning videos for university examinees and TOEIC/TOEFL test takers. So I've never gone out for about 4 weeks and I'm extremely sleepy. I'M DYING TO SLEEP(^^;

@PunkValenzuela IMO this is GREAT quality. It's produced by Ric Ocasek, for crying out loud. The most important hardcore album ever.

I listened to this on my Walkman in the mid eighties, ridin the T from Braintree to Boston and back. They helped to make me the fucking awesome person I am today. lol

@PunkValenzuela lol I know right? Actually it's just because I had downloaded a very shitty quality of the self-titled (I should slap myself for this right?), it sounded as if the guy had recorded it from a cassette with a mic after destroying the tape. I actually decided to buy the album, and the quality's what I was waiting for coming from an early 80's hardcore band - it's raw, but yet all the instruments sound distinct. Sailin' On and Pay to Cum are awesome on original quality :p

Lol, I have to start with this album, because I'm just not able to get into the self-titled already (quality seems too shitty) :D

@DoctorRobertBobby unfortunately the weak link of the band WAS H.R. I against I was made with SST after Island Records offered a sizable contract. H.R. just never wanted to go mainstream. Growing up was a constant state of, "oh, they broke up again," because H.R. was unwilling to go corperate. And good on him. Kept them pure for quite awhile. But, musicians who are on a good thing, need more than values at times for hard work. And these guys are still largely undiscovered, though influencial.

@935323 :D been a Bad Brains fanatic for many years. i got everyone i know to listen to them. no weak link in that band. HR's voice grabbed me and wouldn't let go, and i am thankful for that. Bad Brains played with more heart and intensity than anyone. you see videos of them and they're playing so fast, and the songs and musicianship are so tight, and HR seems like he's possessed, and you know, YOU KNOW, Bad Brains are indeed the greatest
