The Baby Animals now isn't this band - just the singer....the drummer Frank Celenza and bass player Eddie Parise aren't with her

surprising that they've only released like 5 studio albums considering the immense talent this band should've gone a lot further globally great to hear that they've reformed after too long a hiatus let's hope they continue putting out the awesome rock n roll we have all become accustomed to hearing from them they might be 90s but it fits into that same category as all those greats as previous decades of rock: timeless classic

was lucky enough to see them in ny. what a great drummer he is. on this and everything else. as is the bass player and guitarist. she's amazing of course and those 2 albums, every song rock epic.

You're right! And isn't it cool? I think of it as 11/8. It's just like 12 over 8 but cut short - which makes it swing! So good! :-)

I love the second album as much as the first... I think it was just a change in times. Everything became grunge!

Brilliant song - album - guitar tone ....... Just wished they had toned the snare volume down on the rest of the album ....... Killer

If a band could be considered great after only one first STELLAR album: This is that band! The second cd failed to fully ignite (muddy production, 'weaker' songs) and lack of chart friendly fare...

note that the time sig for the guitar riff is 9 + 2 = 11

@Sandirokz So... It's Colin Gault, who died on Leap Year Day, in 1992. This... is also an unusually important day for me, as well... I survived a brain hemorrhage (CVA) on that very same day.

Am i wrong in saying that Nuno had a big influence on the production of this album. It is a fantastic album and they were an awesome band live.

Really emotional and haunting and the guitar playing is absolutely stellar. I don't think there is a guitarist alive who could improve on it, the composition and arrangement is that good. It still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Shaved and Dangerous is a massively underrated album. A lost Aussie classic you could call it. This track and "Don't Tell Me What to Do" are brilliant songs, as is most of the rest.
