NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (ABC Paramount 10524) Out of Nashville, this single issued in December of 1963 is yet another of the many discs that the talented Ray Stevens arranged rather than sang on. Originally from New Orleans, Tyrone and Jerome Aubert who took 'Aubry' as their stage name as children, are all of thirteen years old on this recording which also features the bass voice of Ray Walker of The Jordanaires.

Not to be confused with that unusual intersection of country rock and bubble-gum, "Hoot Hoot Owl" by The Cattanooga Cats of early 70s ABC Saturday morning fame. Suspect this song by the Aubrys was cribbed to a degree in the making of the song for the cartoon kitties.
