I am 44 and nothing gets me emotional or floored by anything especially new music but she blows me away every time she sings, performs and speaks. It is an experience I just can't put into words. She really is amazing. I love her live performances more so than the studio work because the live performances I have seen are not watered down and full of pre-recorded tracks. She creates every sound as she goes right on the fly and that is amazing. I just can't find the words to describe the experience of watching her perform.8 years ago

But there's this conversation that takes place between two people when one is asking someone to come exactly as they are, to allow them to be intimate; allow them to be open. And so often we fall for that and when we find out that it wasn't as pure as you thought, it can be really difficult to let yourself be vulnerable again. Vulnerability is so important to me. I think it's so crucial to the human experience, that we open ourselves up and that we be... real with people, and that we be raw with people, and we them see ourselves as we are.
