Glad I ran across this rendition. Excellent. Very mature sound and thank you for the special attention to dynamics (especially internal).

Beautifully rendered. It had all the essentials; good tempo, good choral blend, good phrasing and articulation, good use of dynamics, and thoughtfully prepared. This was truly a joy to hear and watch!!!

This piece is deceptively hard, as several people pointed out. I've heard too many memorized performances of choral music that are completely robotic and un-musical, that's never been the be all and end all for me.

I'm fine, thank you.

My HS choir sang this in the early 70's and I still remember the alto part!! Your choir did a wonderful job, I agree with James Barclay, it was beautifully performed. Thank you for posting!

Men, those basses, let them change rythm! They're kinda slowing... Except for that, great execution :)

Thank you for the kind comment Brian, I am sure Dr. Grives would appreciate hearing that. He did not leave on sabbatical, he has left permanently. I am no longer at South Dakota State University but I imagine he certainly is missed!

Jerron, just wanted to tell you that S.D. State is most likely missing Dr. Grives. Heard the choir. Is he doing a sabatical at DePaul or is he now going to stay there permanently? Wonderful selection very, very well done!
