I remember seeing duvall on a vid for the first time. Can't remember which one but it was during the time I heard alice in chains had found a new vocalist. It had duvall come out and hit those vocals from this song, coming out from the shadows as the song started. And still to this the day that shit makes me want to grab my air guitar and bellow. Lol The guy is bad ass. Still love and miss layne but this guy was meant to be in aic.

Jerry aged pretty hard in 4 years. I just saw them in Luxembourg back in June. He can still melt faces, though. They were awesome.

People hating on the new Alice can go fuck their mothers. Saw the band live a few weeks ago, and it was a fantastic performance. William is a fantastic singer and he harmonizes very well with Jerry. Layne is dead and gone, let it go people.

i used to hate duvall... but he is just backing vocals to me. its still alice in chains and i feel like he contributes little to none. jerry wrote almost entire the devil put dinosaurs here album. and no jerry sounds just like he always did. and hell no... layne brought some dirty evil vocals and now their vocals are very clean and straightforward

People need to chill. Obviously Layne Staley, one of the (if not the) greatest rock vocalists ever, was going to be hard to replace, and damn near impossible to please the fans with his replacement.But sadly Layne's dead, and if Jerry hadn't gotten the band back together, with a new, great sounding vocalist, we wouldn't have had one of the best rock albums of 2009 - let alone this awesome anthem.Will's not trying to oust Laynes memory, let alone trying to replace him. He's a new singer, with a different style, and should be considered as such, and nothing more or less.
