I now realize that the pops were intentional, and I really like the edge they add to this tune. He's definitely my favourite "studio" guitarist and musician, and we could probably do a "6 degrees of separation" with Adrian, as he has played with everyone! I love this guy!

If it was from vinyl, I'll take the pops. Not even a big vinyl guy, but I can hear more of the song in this shitty youtube vid than the album version mp3 I just listened to. The drums are noticeably clearer.

Definitely not impossible, just not your standard G C D type progression lol! I just posted a video of me playing this tune if people want to check it out on my channel. I also made it a video response of this video, just awaiting approval . . .

funny lots of people only know him from king crimson or bowie, but he tore it up with frank zappa before all that other stuff. for several years zappa had guitar players that had unique styles, most notably adrian belew and steve vai.

Just figure it out by ear. It will turn you into a better musician.

Adrian Belew (born Robert Steven Belew, December 23, 1949, in Covington, Kentucky). He has worked extensively as a session and touring musician, most famously with Talking Heads, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, and Nine Inch Nails. I first saw Adrian Belew on tour with David Bowie (Sound & Vision Tour). At the time Adrian had a song released names, " Hey Daddy ".

This is awesome, but are the record pops intentional, or was this uploaded from dusty vinyl? I was lucky to see Adrian in Toronto back in the early 90's, and you can tell he loves doing what he does, as he was smiling the whole time!
