Above The Law confirmed their veteran status when they dropped their third studio album "Uncle Sam's Curse" in 1994. The lead single " Black Superman" carried Above The Law's brand of G Funk which blasted from the west coast through the midwest's hip hop community. Above The Law's producer/rapper Cold 187um flipped Ohio Players "Funky Worm" in reverse for the backbone of the track. Cold 187um also publicly professed that Dr. Dre had bit the G Funk sound which he created years prior.
