The special effects of this video made some fans question if the real lunar landing had ever occurred - in jest!
This video was filmed in an abandoned mine in the Prague, Czech Repulic.
The suits worn by a-ha in this video were reproductions of real lunar suits. They had been originally used in the movie "Apollo 13."
The theme of this video is based in reality; Paul and Magne have always complained that Morten is late to every meeting and concert and interview. In this video they thought it would be fun to leave him behind.
For the "Minor Earth | Major Tour" this was the first song on the setlist.
The song reached #1 in 3 European nations.

I so love this song, which is from a-ha's superb album of the same name. They returned so creatively rejuvenated for this record. That the video is pretty cool as well is but a bonus. I am from the United States and I will forever convince all of those people who dismiss a-ha as a one-hit wonder (which they aren't since "The Sun Always Shines on TV" was a Top 20 hit stateside) that the band contributed so much more than "Take On Me."8 years ago

Great video Kent. They really look as if they were walking on the moon...except for the part where their feet moved as if on the Earth's gravity. They forgot the part where the slightest shuffling of the feet send you bouncing up high. But still pretty good.9 years ago

What an AWESOME video and song ! I can't believe they left Morten behind. You don't leave one of the great singers in rock on the moon. I can see Guns N Roses leaving Axl Rose behind, that would be understandable.A-ha has done some incredible videos and songs. My all time favorite band ! John9 years ago
