This song definitely struck a chord in my heart...My Father loved me, and he apologized to me and my sisters a few weeks before he died of cancer, about the divorce that happened when I was 6 yrs old. It messed me up a little, but now I have 2 little girls, and I will always be in their lives.....give your children as much love and time that you can....life moves real fast. And for God sakes....don't mess em up.

God this song hits home everytime.. I grew up in a very similar situation, and music gave me a good outlet for many of the emotions I've felt. I can truly say that Art was my role model and still very much is. I hope he keeps writting.

Art's songwriting is damn near unmatched. My dad's still with me and a good man and yet this song puts tears in my eyes every time I listen to it. I can only imagine what it's like. No, I can't personally relate to this song. Many of his other songs on the other hand hit so close to home they are hard to listen to sometimes.
