So suicide gets censored but not homicide. Both are extreme acts if your going to censor do it correctly or GTFO.

Gangsta soft rock at its finest...I'll never tire of the delightful guitar licks or the awesome, unforgettable, touching message that's the timeless musing of the quintessential thug on his ultimate destiny after death. A song for all ages. Matchless lyrical pedigree.

This lyric can be looked at in two ways "think of the people that you knew in the past they past on they in heaven found peace at last or you can hear it as peace that lasts.

Another great tupac song ruined by some pseudo-idealistic, dishonest, feel-good about yourself in the face of the real destructive world, fake compassionate, escapist nonsensical music video. This kind of nonsense goes against everything the man stood for. Firstly, if you look at his old videos, many, if not all are filled with the realities of the world we live in, like the lack of understanding by the police, poverty and to quote tupac, the 'oppressors'. They were sometimes dark, violent, sad etc. but rarely happy and wonderful since that's not the reality of the world we live in. It'd spoke to the truth about our situation and was not some fake call to act like we are kind, loving people even though we are not as this video makes us out to be.Finally, censorship is the worst thing you can do to his songs. It goes against the whole point of making this video which is honouring tupac and his legacy (part of which surely was freedom). Not only that, but this song has committed the fatal error of censoring one of his greatest lines possibly in all of rap in my opinion which is 'I cried times I once contemplated SUICIDE and would have tried but when I held that KNIFE all I could see was my mama's eyes' 0:39. This is highly important as he's saying that the reason that he would not commit suicide is because he was loved enough by his mother to feel secure enough in himself to not feel worthless which was his 'struggle'.As you can see, his entire verse was more than just a homage to some mansion, it was very deep and profound in its thinking and almost spoke to the very core of human existence. So the creators of this video through editing, censorship etc. does the opposite of helping people recognise great truths that were in tupac's verse and instead steers people away from this by focusing on escapism.
