This is great and all, but Colin is really over recycling his beats. This is seriously Version 2 of 2013. With only a pinch of 2014. It seems like this may be the new style ever since they won percussion under McNutt in 2013. That's the only reason I'm not all too impressed with this book right here. Otherwise, I'd be freaking out in amazement. And flam fear.

unrelated but am i the only one who can't stand the mallets the cadets quads use? those things are just so damn ugly and look awkward as hell to play on. i'm all about the snare-style sticks that cavs/coats use
