Are these guy related to band Kiss the anus of black cat ? Voice sounds familiar. Despite the name, its one of the best "dark folk" bands out there.

Even though I also like death metal and other stuff, I have to agree... this and other 16 horsepower songs are above all and everything. I never skip a song when 16HP comes along during shuffle.

I was raised in a religious home, I won't go into detail but my family had a disagreement with the preachers family. We were isolated and ostracized by what was effectively my social world. When I was 12 my parents told me to make my own choices, I eventually chose atheism. That said music is still a door to the soul, music touches you like nothing else. And I bloody love this band.

I have been religious once, but lost my religion becouse of finding out about my autism and certain things happening to me. I could return to my faith by saying that it was God's meaning to make me this way and find my way in life. It would be an easy way to do so, but I don't think I should trust in things that I am not totally sure of. Allthough I must say D.E.E. played some sensitive snares in my soul. Yet, I am still atheist, I love his biblical themes. He respects others, so should I...

Shhhh, let's not overanalyze :). My answer: It does not matter (not in an ignorant way). What matters is respect for other people and their genius.

I'd like to ask a question. I love DEE, and I know about his spirituality and his beliefs, yet, I would never consider his music to be "christian rock". he's never preachy, though most of his songs have biblical metaphors in them. so, who listens to his music? (I don't think it's neccessarily mostly christians, right?) what I'm trying to ask is: do people get those references at all? can you separate the music from the lyrics? do you? does it matter? :-)

The chorus of this song is a musical achievement; I had forgotten about how good this album was.
