Yeah Pat. This is John L. pianist from Peoria. I imagine Terry didn't want to talk about his past as REO lead singer when he thinks about all the cash Kevin Cronin is making now off some of his old tunes. Btw. Richrath still hangs around Pekin and Peoria and shows up for the occasional bar jam nights.

Believe it or not, I used to live next to Terry. He moved across the street from me a few years ago. We would talk every once in a while. Cool dude. He brought something up about him being the lead singer of a pretty well known band, but he never wanted to talk about it. A few weeks ago I figured out it was REO. What are the odds..

Grew up in Pain Town with these guys & everyone thought Terry got screwed when they came back from there 1st tour. Everyone was pissed but Champaign is used to giving things up like, Chief Illiniwik. Gary was also very full of himself. I remember listening to him at Lloyds music practicing that overdone Wah Wah.

I like that Luttrell formed a better group (IMO) called Starcastle.

I really doubt that! The age and sound quality of the recording has a lot to with the sound of his voice.

Does anyone know what year this was? I saw them in 1977, Chicago's Soldier Field. It was called the Superbowl of Rock. 1) .38 Special 2) Journey 3) REO 4) Lynyrd Skynyrd (Last Chicago performance due to plane crash) 5) Ted Nugent. What a show!!! Peace, Dave the guitar guy
