The thing I notice here is that it seems too treble-y, if you will, whereas the original had more bass going for it. All things considered, it doesn't hold a candle to the original, but I feel it was a good shot, and I like it.

I like it. It changes the atmosphere completely, it is not so happy/funky, more of signature Vine style. They didn't give a lot of thought into the rapping part, which I didn't like on Gorrilaz in the first place. Maybe if he worked on it a bit longer the melody of the verse could have been more varied.
