Someone just wrote me regarding who sang what in " Wait" he is obviously not a musician .He told me that John and Paul sang together on chorus/verse. Of course they did,that's obvious . Paul sang unison on bridge. You see harmony is in this case just two parts,so it would stand to reason that Paul would be singing through whole tune,harmony on chorus and verse and unison on bridge,which is what I'm sure I said. Where do people come up with these things?

I wish I could hear what the version without the overdubs - that were added to make the song blend in better with the more recent songs on Rubber Soul - sounded like.

Not done yet. Someone mentioned something about the key shifts going from major to minor. Actually the verse is in a minor,( F#) then the chorus shifts between an A6 or F# depending on your voiceings and goes back and forth to an A major.

I have to comment. First of all,Paul wrote this song while they were working on Help. John sings the lead vocal on verse and chorus with Paul's harmonies. Paul double tracked and sang the bridge in unison.
