The Beatles "Hey Bulldog" guitar lesson. The next Riff of the Day uses the Wampler Thirty Something (formerly the Ace Thirty) to recreate a raw guitar tone from the late 60's. The intro riff locks in with the bass and piano, then takes a step back for the verse. Towards what could be the pre-chorus, there is a great feeling up anticipation by escalating the 5th of the B & E power chords chromatically. The "Hey Bulldog" Solo is very melodic, which we used the Thirty Something's boost feature on, as it glides through the same chord progression of the verse using alternate chord positions and lots of simplified harmonies on the G&B strings. Enjoy your Riff of the Day guitar lesson!

Andy and Co: good lesson but not to be pedantic but for beginners who may be watching please remember to keep the guitar in tune at all times. * notice how the rhythm "you can talk to me" is one of the foundations of "I Got You" by Split Enz!? Also how the same part is a nod to John Barry Bond Chord Changes!Again, nice one good lesson.

Love Andy's contributions as always. Just a minor observation, at 3:36 on the letter L. If you're "L"onley you can... The chord is Bm7b5, the shape I use is 7x776x with my thumb grabbing the 6th string. That said I don't know that the fabs played that guitar chord (that way as I often have to play it sans piano) but you can clearly hear flat5 on the piano and vocal. So at the least if doing a power chord I would do 789XXX to E (x7999x) for the next E chord on the word talk.
