Pete Best is the best of them just look at how he carries himself, any other person would be so bitter,and how the beatle,s can not feel great guilt surprises me!! there again he did refuse the desires of Epstein, and maybe that,s the reason he was chucked out,and is that the reason the others remained, just as a Homos fantasy and plaything, Pete is too much of a gent to tell . its all about dignity and self respect and he has it. and i dont even know him but i would be proud if i did!!!!!

Pete Best's one claim to fame is being thrown out of the Beatles. If he was such a great talent he would have dusted off his shoulders and moved on to his own success...Instead DECADES later the man is still living in the shadows of the Beatles and a WHAT IF fantasy. Truly sad.

This is akin to going back to your old high school football field because you were a star player locally at the time; it is meaningless. Except that Best didn't even really get to play beyond the local level; in the global scheme of things, like most players, he simply sat on the bench until he was dismissed.

Pete Best was the Drummer for The Beatles from August 1960-August 1962 so yes he was a Beatle. He played Drums with them longer than anybody including Ringo..
