From the director: The video is both inspired and soundtracked by the Madvillain track of the same name. We follow the lone figure of a run-down clown as he travels through picturesque woodland and fields, on a search. The video is a meditation on escapism, and the line between comedy and tragedy.

I guess it's time I gave my piece on this this video. The video is completely related to the content. Doom always spits about the rap game, portraying it as a girlfriend or wife. The song is about how Doom put on the mask to test his 'girlfriend's' response. In doing so buried his Vic Vaughn alias with MF's success. "Nobody cared who I was until I put on the mask"

You guys are funny with your alleged "literal meanings". As for this video being completely unrelated, give your brain some years it'll handle abstract concepts better. In the lyrics, DOOM is the fancy clown, of course, but the video portrays the protagonist Viktor as the clown. It's basically saying who's the real clown? You're the one burying yourself over a stupid bitch that cheated on you. Dig it?

Good lord.. The song features Victor Vaugh, doom's old alter ego, fussing at his girl for cheating with his then new ego mf doom. The video has nothing to do with the song. Except for maybe the title.

The song is MF DOOMs alias Viktor Vaughn rapping to his girlfriend because she cheated on him with DOOM himself (we can assume she didn't recognize him because of the mask.) The video is interesting but it has nothing to do with the literal meaning of the song.

It's funny how many people know exactly what the video is about yet none of you are explaining it.The song is about some girl who cheated on some guy with Doom. I don't see the connection between that and the video.
