I love all the Black Butler seasons, albeit II was pretty bad. And if you don't believe me, know I'm not kidding. I've seen season 1, to this day in full length all 24 episodes, 76 times in total. Probably more than any other living human being.My only problem with the show, even though I can't picture it being any other way, is the poor representation of Victorian England. Victorian England was a very Christian society. Nobleman did not wear girl's heels, they didn't have piercings, and they definitely did not openly engage in homosexual behavior. These things were totally rejected in society, I don't even think being gay was legal at the time. Also the show would be infinitely better, even though it's my favorite series right now, if they would please just drop the yaoi attempts with Sebastian and Ciel. It's not working. It also makes no sense. The Christian interpretation of demons like Sebastian is that they have no sex drive and are very much against homosexuality. So why would Sebastian even have an interest in Ciel like that? No. He should just want his soul, nothing more. Demons don't have feelings or emotions the way humans do.
