Always a great live show. The very first concert I attended was the J Geils Band at Cobo Hall in Detroit. They were touring the Bloodshot album. The opening band was a then unknown Montrose playing their 1st album. Just unbelievable to see those two bands at the peak of their greatness.

Seen the Boys from Boston 6 times, and from the moment the first note in the first song, till you get into your car to leave, you're standin', jumpin, pumpin', eruptin', and funkin'!! Saw the two Greatest Rock & Roll Bands in the World at the LA Coliseum in 83... The Rolling Stones and the J Geils band. They shook the walls of the stadium and it could be felt like 9 on the richtor scale..!!

Peter was great, but this band was really built around Magic Dick and his exceptional harp playing. He was the best rock harmonica player ever, bar none.

PETER WOLF WAS AT A WILLY DEVILLE TRIBUTE WROTE A SONG FOR HIM AFTER HIS PASSING.HE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY WILLY DEVILLE WAS A HIT IN EUROPE BUT NOT SO IN THE UNITED STATES. JGB opened for West, Bruce & Lang in ~'73. Half the crowd left exhausted before the headliner struck a note. Few rocked like JGB.
