Christianity was the craziest counter culture ever in Rome; it went against objectification of women, debauchery, and idol worship, things which were the norm at the time (and today!). They tried to kill off Christianity, but Rome became Christian, and it's now dead while 3 billion Christians live today. The punk and metal countercultures got nothing on that, so punk and metal are more rebellious with the Christian attitude, especially w/today's anti-Christian norms looming over society.

christianity is sick..... I cant think of one other religion that has had their ultimate savior die AND rise again.... Yet alone in a different body. And to think that Christianity isnt even a religion, its a relationship. :P

@IBUILTTHECROSS Yeah, you guys are a band of Christians, thats cool. But I guess I always see the word preceding 'band' as the part that describes the music. Like they're a 'noise' band or an 'electronic' band, so it kind of erks me when people describe a band as 'Christian', y'know? Maybe there really is a Christian genre of music and I'm just out of the loop @_@

@Nidis Many people interpreting the character of Christianity may see it as one of the numerous philosophies and religions known from antiquity. Christianity is not a philosophy in the sense that prevails today. Philosophy sets up a system of thought which in most cases bears no relationship to life. The main difference between Christianity and philosophy is that the latter is human thinking, while Christianity is a revelation of God.
