I didn't say all, I said there are generic upon generic Death metal bands out there that are no less generic than your average Deathcore band. In fact there are generic bands in EVERY genre of metal, yet act like deathcore/ metalcore bands are the only bands that are inclusive to being generic...jeez, it's like if a Death metal band sweeps and chugs/ slams, it's "awesome" and "metal", but if a Deathcore band does, it's automatically "generic" and "unecessary" for no appearant reason.

LOL and like there aren't boring and generic Death metal bands that sound like every Suffocation clone? Deathcore has and is always going to be booked with other Death metal bands, it's nothing new yet every pompous "metalhead" I come across acts like it just happened yesterday. Who cares if deathcore bands are not technical wizards or as godly as other bands. Whitechapel, TBDM, and even Suicide Silence aren't the worst bands ever.

Scene kids make up about less than a third of Whitechapel's fanbase. Besides, Whitechapel is one of the more exceptional deathcore acts. Granted they are not the most talented or innovative band right now, but they're not a Bring me the Horizon clone (much like many people delude themselves that they are), for fucks sake.

Just because Whitechapel is deathcore doesn't mean they automatically qualifiy as scene. Not all Deathcore is centered towards scene kids. Now if you want to level bands with Justin Bieber, that's more in the likes of bands like Black Veil Brides or Asking Alexandria.

@demonns8 Hell yeah, I fucking love Swedish death. USA has some pretty good death metal bands too. Think of the NY, Florida, and Texas scenes. Some of the best death metal came out of Florida (Disincarnate, Death, Obituary, etc.).
