Just love Go West for their style and great musicians at their best .You just don't get this type of music on the air waves anymore.

IMHO One of the best albums produced in the 80's. Alan Murphy, God take care of his soul, Ronnie and Rich are the most undeniable song writers extraordinaire and musicians. Which is why they were so close to the other fusion best, Level 42. Now all we get is ghetto rap bullshit, no talents, and the likes of Cyrus's unprincipled whore child.

Mr Alan Murphy. Rest his beautiful soul. Mr murphy died of AIDS in the eartly 90"s. Probably the most prolific guitarist, might I say, ever,ever lived. I dont say that with any reservation and we all miss him terribly.

Thats funny Smithyal, I wasnt quite sure what to do with these guys when I went out and bought this on cassette and was really into prog rock then(still am though)I knew they were phenominally good, but they paved a new path through and people couldnt grasp their genius until they came out with king of wishfull thinking. I guess that was a day late and a dollar short. Anyone know what happened to Drummie and Cox?

If this track had been released first on this album rather than just an album track, then I believe this album would have been more succsessful, other great songs are Dangerous and Mask of love.

Go West generated a style of 80's pop that just harks home for me. For whatever reason (likely the contributions of members of fusion group SFX, plus Peter Cox's fantastic range), the production of these records is perfect to me for that era.
