This is VERY cool.did Brian Wilson write this song..? Cause I know that Jan and Dean sang it. My Mom used to let me listen to her album..but I know a lot of those surf bands mingled too. My stepfather played with Dick Dale, and also The Surfaries..who also shared songs with The Ventures..anyway, it doesn't matter, the song is great. that matters

Clarification: The Go-Go's are/were primarily a punk rock group. In some ways,like Blondie, they categorically transferred over into the pop market but they're really a punk group -based on punk principles and punk sensibility. The challenges they faced were record companies wanting to market the beautiful belinda to top 40 pop culture & radio while keeping their individuality.
