From their best album: "You Forgot it in People". *I do not own this music; all materials used property of their respective owners.* A truly emotional track sure to stir up feelings from the past.

this song reminds me of my old friends before they cared about what others thought of them and of course what comes with that.

This song was sent to me by a friend, and I heard it in the Scott Pilgrim movie. I fell in love with it. I'm writing right now to, well, more or less put off stress. This song, even in the short time I've known it, is going to help me with the things that I am going to put together. I writing something to give my friend as a going away present. More or less, she needs something to remember me by. Other than my hair, of course. There would be those nights where she would drive me home and she's help me by letting me vent about my sadness, (I refrain from calling it depression, because I'm not diagnosed) we would sit in the car for almost 2 hours and just vent until we would drown in our tears. This song reminds me of that. Now, leaving state for college after our Summer trip, the lyric, "Now you're all gone got your make-up on and you're not coming back" hits me harder than the last time she slapped me when I made a bad joke. Thank you for uploading this. My heart hit the floor, and I think I shed more than a few tears.

just in the pattern of sharing meanings, this song really reminds me of.. nostalgic love if that makes sense? sort of, someones message to someone they used to love: not in a particular bitter or angry sense, or even in an angsty way. more of a nostalgia and pleasant remembrance of their feelings for one another. love that lingers, even if you dont feel the same way for the person. you both gave to one another, and this song reminds me of acknowledging that.

My personal take from this song, not that it can't be different. But I used to think it was all about lover's lament. But when I start hearing those lyrics, Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me, I feel like it's her teenage self singing to who she will become in the future. Not to forget the passionate, angst filled, beautiful person she was at 17. Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me.

I miss slowly falling in love with people while listening to this album on repeat, 15 years old, laying on my back in the middle of my floor, with my door closed, sweet smell of fresh marijuana in the air, hoping for a friend to call me and invite me outside, tired, hungry, acne ridden, yet so full of energy and youth, and so full of shit and ungratefulness, unknowing that i'd someday be apart of corporate america working 8-5 mon-fri looking forward to have only the weekends to spend, worry free, with my wife and daughter. Oh, the innocence.
