I'm so very high right now...and going through this album track by track...and remembering how fucking amazing it was when I first heard it back in 2008. Easily a modern classic of an album. It's so goddamn unique and creative.

You can tell the audience was hugely into them...at the end of both this and 2080. That first album really was something special. I remember seeing them live while watching Jools on TV. I had never heard of them. My first thought was, "That vocalist looks like Conan OBrien...and he definitely took some speed before the show." My next thought was "This is the best fucking music I've heard from a new band in maybe a decade. Holy shit...." Huge fan ever since then.

I like the part with the drums, the bass line, the vocals, and the keyboards.

Gah...throwing around the "hipster" word is getting absurd. It seems to apply to ANYONE who's slightly different. If someone writes unconventional music or has creative fashion sense, they're a "hipster." Under this definition..David Bowie, Lou Reed, Prince, Jimi Hendrix..all hipsters. Would you rather everyone just dress normally(whatever that means)? Would you prefer musicians not experiment with new and strange ideas? These "hipsters" seem to make the most interesting music going these days.

They are not lip syncing bro. This doesn't sound like the studio version at all and they're clearly playing. Not sure you're talking about at all.

Reminds me of talking heads once in a lifetime video (the dancing)

Im not saying that, what im saying is their lip syncing and recreating the identical version to the studio version, look how off timing the keyboard player is. nobody plays a drum that hard but so quietly.

Aren't you contradicting yourself here!! This live version on jools is fantastic!! powerful and much more intense that the studio version!! On the contrary I think they're not scared to reinterpret their owns songs when performing live! No one wants to hear a copycat version of studio song when going to a concert!!! Personally I find it boring!
