I'm a big fan of the St. Anger album. It's "popular" to diss this album. The same complaints I hear are "no guitar solos" and "tin can snare". The songs for what they are not bad at all. "Fans" want every album to sound like Master of Puppets. As great as an album as it is, You can't make the same album over and over.

This is a far far cry from the Metallica i was brought up in the early 80's..It's sad to see and hear this kind of bullshit.This is the worst song of any band i have ever heard.Fucking bullshit songwriting.And to all the younger faggots out there saying this is a great album and metallica are the best..You didn't grow up with the real metallica or the other greats like early megadeth slayer iron maiden etc...i feel sorry for the new generation metal fan out there having this shit to listen to..metallica you are fucked :)

Metallica and ACDC primarily influenced me to metal muaic i still respect the hell out of these guys and i like st anger as well even lulu has some interesting things on it but i dont count it as a metallica album
