It's that time again, summer...Lol, an Australian friend and I went to see Keith one long, hot summer ourselves. I thought she would enjoy it being an Aussie herself. Where else to find an Australian? I checked the suspect haunts, Outback Steakhouse, where she does decidedly NOT hang out, and I still know of exactly one-herself. Honestly, where do you even find an Aussie in this state? And now look, it's summer again. This electric song is one of Keith's best, in my opinion. I asked my friend if she thought Keith still sounded characteristically Aussie when he spoke. "Oh yes!" she said. I figured as much, though he is from Queensland, a part of Australia where you can find the most rednecks (only they don't call them that, there are some major country music fans in Queensland) and she is from Perth, an international shipping port. :) On either coast, from her descriptions, it seems rather easy to die in Australia. There are natural disasters and numerous possibilities for poisonous creature attacks. Jellies and sharks on the beach pose seem to a hazard in particular. Maybe he's worried about being attacked by a shark or stung by a giant mantaray. JK, y'alls."I can't sleep...," the song starts out. True that. People think Keith is a sell out but he's more of a natural born musician, having begun playing guitar at the age of three. It seems weird to me that none of his videos capture the live energy he has. Some pictures must not fit their frames very well, hence. Some pictures must be impossible to frame. I much, much prefer the few Australian people I know to the few British people I've met!
