Missing demon hunter right now. Saw them live in Oct and they played this among a really good set list,was good to see them finally for my first time. They said they would not be quitting and had no plans to. Just wish they would tour more, however I understand they have families and work, which honestly surprises me they still keep DH alive, but were happy for whatever they give us.

From a Christian perspective, I think this song is talking about the world and how hard it is for Christians to live the lives that we should...Its about how soo many have fallen away and lost their faith...But Ryan is saying that its better that he stay alive and cling unto what he believes, because he has a hope that theres more than all of this...This world is only for now...That we have a hope in Christ, and if we Hold on to Him with everything we have and believe in Him, when we will go to a place where there would be no more hurt, or pain, or suffering and that place is with Christ Himself...We won't be souls denied...and even if we don't die...We can be taken up (ascend) when Jesus comes back for us who believe in Him (the rapture).

They get a little too preachy and spiritual for my tastes but some of their music really kicks ass. I just don't see why wearing your faith on your sleeve is so important to to some bands. Bands that inspire to find hope and strength within yourself have more to respect than these bands that call upon a sky daddy for things to get better. It makes them seem like a novelty and limits their credibility.Cool music to listen to, can't stand the people who make it though.
