agreed with stinga122, these guys take vocal lessons from some of the best professional voice coaches in the industry. also, i can no longer see the comment posted by aka "fuck face" but even attempting to play polyrhythms and time signatures such as this, is pretty damn hard to wrap around. that's why the only two good bands i.e. meshuggah and a life once lost do it best

this guy is definitely influenced by randy, but that not surprising considering they take vocal lessons from the same lady and randy even does vocals on Vulture

I think it was part of Randy's vocals "evolving" all his band mates say he's been improving them. I think he was going for the same screams but now you can tell what he's saying. Idk. guess it depends on which you like

As much as they may shit on them, I don't think its in the way that most bands do. Look at these guys. They're audable proof that Meshuggah have definitely started their own subgenre of progressive/death/experimental/math metal. The same way that BlackSaboth have. Qudose to you Meshuggah! KEEP METAL ALIVE AND CHANGING!!!!!!!!!!

Nooooo. Randy has not lost it. I've seen recent concerts of him. I would refrase that to "Losing it" he is not as good as he used to be, but he's still got some of it.

They don't sound LIKE Meshuggah, they sound as thought they were heavily influenced by Meshuggah. That rhythm of the chorus has the same feel as New Millenium Cyanide Christ. I love Meshuggah, but A Life Once Lost is surprisingly decent.

well okay, i think you're sort of right ^^ but still there are differences, they are not a copy

yeah right!! now everyone wants to be like Meshuggah, or bands like Pantera, etc, why the neeed to copy things done by others, when you all could be creative and show great music, even better!! good band, but what a lack of imagination to do something different than other bands, ah, the voice is too forced, not so natural.
