Well isn't this interesting: Watch Paul's mouth at the very beginning of the first lyric line: For the first two words he's not singing the verse, but his lips look like he's doing the 'woo-ooh' part - Clearly, he's lip synching to a pre-recorded track. Not an absurd conclusion - in a documentary I saw he's chewing out a member of the team for not 'timing out the sequence' of a song - i.e., that might mean that there's a instrument track pre-recorded so he can re-produce songs that were originally only been meant to be performed in the studio, and at that time, no one imagined the advances in music synthesis that would be possible. But in this clip, I can't think of another reason his lips would be out of synch with the first couple words unless he was not actually singing the lyric in real-time. Make of it what you will. I recently read an article about this first song, "Too Many People". In it, McCartney admitted that some of what's on the RAM album (re-released in remastered form in 2012) were slight digs at Lennon and sometimes the Beatles - e.g., a picture of beetles screwing on the back cover - indicative of how he felt he was being treated legally by the other 3; also the line "You took your lucky break, and broke it in two - now what can be done for you?" - a dig at Lennon - McCartney said he changed the lyric from something like "Yoko took your lucky break and broke it in two". another dig McCartney admitted was the line in 'Too Many People' was "Too many people preaching pratices (a reference to Lennon's public pontificating, "don't let them tell you what you want to be." He denied there were any other 'digs' on the album - except this one, which I found interesting that McCartney himself would endorse it - the opening words of the first album song - "Too Many People' - sounds like McCartney saying "Piece of Cake-ay-ay-ay-ay", but McCartney himself said the first line where he sings it, he's signing, "Piss Off eh-eh-eh-eh-eh?" He spoke about it, meaning that he wasn't concerned with what people, including Lennon, thought he 'ought' to be doing in terms of the vein of 'heavy with meaning' Beatles songs - he wanted to do an album that was 'fun' for him and loose in feeling - regardless of what others, including Lennon, thought of it. Now, that may be true - but given that at the time of release, almost every reviewer 'flamed' it as one of the worst albums they had ever heard, perhaps McCartney, now in retrospect, is saying that he *meant* to break expectations of him. Perhaps it's true - but given McCartney's rep for always putting on his 'best' face on things in public (the Beatles complained that he was too self-promoting at the expense of the group), perhaps he said he *meant* it to be a pretty vapid album in terms of content because of the flaming he got, and it might've been face-saving to later say, "Yeah, I meant it to be fluff without substance - I was having fun." You decide for yourself.

This is from the Ram album, its a very awesome song! This after the Beatles broke up, but this concert was kick ass concert!

This is from the Ram album. Wings did not exist at that time. This was Paul and Linda. We all make mistakes. I'd say he's doing great for his age. I love him♡

'too many people' is from the 'scram' album. wings had not yet been formed. macaroni is getting senile. this drumming is so lame. don't any good drummer want to work with 'sir paul' ??
